Many people have downloaded the HLP App but are not getting the push notifications for school closings, etc.  Here's how:

After downloading the app and registering, you must go to LOGIN and login.  Most assume they are logged in after registering but are not. 

Choose ALERTS. 

Choose the settings GEAR in the top right corner. 

Choose PUSH NOTIFICATIONS. 

Now you will be notified on your phone of any school alerts.
